Monday, April 1 – Sioux City Community Schools Art Teachers will attend a workshop at Briar Cliff University given by Assistant Professor and Briar Cliff Art Department Chair at 2:30.
Tuesday, April 2 – The Sioux City Conservatory of Music will host an Tolerance Week event at 6 pm. Through spoken word and percussion, students will explore the themes of Tolerance and Courage. The event begins at 6:00 and is free and open to the public.
Wednesday, April 3 – Area 8th graders will attend a screening of “Nicky’s Family” at 9:30 at the Sioux City Orpheum Theatre.
Comments by Roberta Grossman at 11:00 at Western Iowa Tech in the Cargill Auditorium. Roberta is the director and producer of “Blessed is the Match,” which will be shown at the Orpheum Theatre at 7:30 also on Wednesday. The film is free and open to the public.

Thursday, April 4 – Free showing of the film “Bully” at the Sioux City Art Center at 6 pm, followed by a panel discussion.
ALL WEEK – The images of Vernon Tott, the late Sioux City veteran, who photographed the concentration camp called Ahlem as his team liberated the prisoners will be displayed at the Sioux City Public Museum.
ALL WEEK – Auschwitz Survivor and Holocaust Educator Philip Gans will be speaking to area middle and high school students.
