Sir Nicholas Winton (Nicky’s Family) Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize
I turn to you because wonderful activity has been launched by students in the Czech Republic – Open Gate School. Students are deeply persuaded that Sir Nicholas Winton should get the Nobel Peace Prize. Therefore they started their petition to award finally Nicky the prize this year. They want to do petition worldwide and they believe that the impact of this huge international petition campaign should help to persuade the Nobel Peace Committe in Oslo to consider Nicky Winton as one of the possible winners. They prepare plenty of activities to stimulate it. The US distributor of the film NICKY´S FAMILY, Menemsha Films, also joined this activity. They have collected more 5,000 supporters of the petition through the internet. There have been more than 160,000 signatures worldwide so far. We deeply believe that Nicky Winton deserves it and we can´t wait much longer. He is already 103 years old. Mrs. Miroslava Nemcova – head of the Czech Parliament has already submitted the official submission for award. If you help us and join us and sign the internet petition for Nicky to get the Nobel prize, IT CAN MEAN TERRIBLY A LOT. And ask your friends to do the same. PLEASE, HELP US TO DISSEMINATE THIS INTERNET PETITION AMONG YOUR FRIENDS WORLDWIDE. WE NEED HUNDREDS AND THOUSANDS OF SIGNATURES. THANKS SO MUCH. And it takes literally only a minute, just open the page:

If you can get this petition to schools, it would be wonderful, because students and members of the younger generation are very much influenced by Nicky´s story. It causes “the virus of good” which we would love to get to the world. And don´t forget to give the word to your friends.
Thanks a lot.
